I was really liking this until the end. Then the decisions Elin was making just felt disjointed and didn't make sense. This had happened a little before that, but at that point, I didn't mind and kept going. In the end, though, it made my rating drop.

Two separate storylines quickly weave their way into one, though there is still some separation between them as well.  Twists and turns connecting dots until the killer is revealed, and then a perfect little twist right at the end.

I enjoyed this book - I think my main qualm was the characters were a bit meh. I do like Elin - I enjoyed her in the first of this series, too - but her boyfriend never seems to have much in the way of redeeming qualities and I keep wondering when the author is going to bite the bullet and just break them up. But that’s a minimal part of the story. The mystery here was fun, and I
enjoyed that last moment twist
. I liked the point of view switches between Elin and Hana. I also enjoyed the setting. Similarly to the last book, it’s very locked room mystery, but Elin had more assistance this time with Steed, which was a nice change, as well. I’m definitely adding the third in this series onto my tbr.
