WOW, is all I can say. Jasinda has done it again. Alpha is so steamy you will need a bath afterwards. I just loved the whole book. VR was a dream and I wish I could get my hands on him. Kyire was a trip, and if I was her, I would cash the checks too.

And must I say, please don't hate me, ALPHA WAS A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN 50 SHADES OF GRAY! To be honest I couldn't get into the 50 series but Alpha? Hot damn, I couldn't put the book down. It's a must read and another one of my favorite books from Jasinda.

Seems like a complete rewrite of 50 shades without the cringe

meh.

2 mistakes I made.

1 - mistaking that this would be a paranormal.....normally I check which genre this is!!! (it's erotica really)

2. being sucked in by the synopsis.

this is another version of Fifty Shades.

As soon as I got to the part where the chauffeur told her he needed her to wear the blindfold to go any further .....I should have known.

I skim read with hopes of it having some sort of great storyline turn......

but it didn't come....

sorry to the author!

I don't even want to go into why this book wasn't worth more than 1 star. Beyond the "erotic" scenes being written terribly, the entire plot being wishy-washy, and the characters being flat annoying slabs... let's just say it wasn't my favourite

I had been looking forward to this one since I'd heard of it. Definitely an interesting story. I really enjoyed the way the story played out. Was it unrealistic? Definitely. Did I care? Nope. I looked at this as an escape. I thought the writing was stronger than I'd seen from the author and I had a hard time putting the book down.
My only real complaint was the end. I didn't guess the exact twist, but I figured it out enough that it wasn't a surprise. I didn't disagree with Kyrie's reaction, but I was looking for something more from the last few pages. I kept looking at the percentage left in my Kindle thinking that I must have not gotten the whole thing. I did see there was a book cover posted somewhere that gives me hope there is more.

DNF. I almost never stop reading a book I hate and I've never posted a review . I usually stick it out to the end but I could not with this book. It was awful. Fifty pages in I was ready to kill both of the characters. I easily figured out what the "big secret" was early on. It wasn't hard to guess. The overview had potential. It could've been a really good BDSM novel but it was unbearably awful. I wish I could give it less than one star.
