I think the audiobook saved this for me. Not sure if I could have kept with reading the interview style it was written in.

Compelling, dramatic, and immersive in the rock and roll culture! This book was amazing and had me wanting to learn more about the different people. At one point it felt like I was reading about a real band and awaiting the real album! I definitely see why this was BOTM club’s book of the year!

I loved the way the story was told interview style by each character from their own perspective. It felt like a movie, like a star is born meets behind the music.

A really fun read. I read it in physical copy when it first came out, and then on audio in 2023. The audio is amazing with all the different narrators. I loved seeing all sides to the story. And such an interesting look at this time in US History.
