Utter dullness marked by instances of extreme gore.  The ending was extremely anti-climatic.

We wil go on

I really didn't care for the story as a whole, maybe the writing itself didn't keep me interested but the more I think about the ending the better I think about the book. It makes sense imo.

I hate the lack of concrete plot points, but it certainly builds tension

I have no idea what happened or why. The ending is ambiguous which I feel hurts the book, and leaves the reader wishing for a more concise ending. The chapters are entirely too long too which makes the book drag on, and the writing is fairly repetitive.
