Unfortunately I didn't love this book, maybe because I watched the movie? I'm not really sure. But I really go border because I knew what was going on so that's definitely my fault. But still liked how original it was!

Instead of dipping my toe in the waters of horror, I feel like I just jumped in! This was so entertaining and captivating to me. Like, imagine yourself in that scenario. You have one choice to make? Will you make it? Can you make it?

I cannot believe the death of Wen! Her innocence was so pure and she didn't even get to have her birthday party! An ambiguous ending makes me love and hate it at the same time. Do Andrew and Eric continue on? Can they? There's so many questions and I know I will be thinking about this book and definitely revisit it!

My only complaint is that my imagination was running wild and the ending didn’t really live up to that. It was heartbreaking though. The writing was also AMAZING. Except for that one sentence: “he let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.” Come on, Paul. I get it, but… lol.

The audio book was awful. At first I thought that the narrator is an actual robot, with how monotone her line delivery was. The premise of the story is quite interesting, but the second half of the book was not that good, and the ending was just meh... The only reason why I don't fully regret listening to it is because I did so while working...
