Ok where do I begin 🤔
First I was bamboozled by the cover, thinking this was a dark romantasy, boy was a wrong.
Second, this was a mash up of the movie The Skulls, with an Edward vibes MMC.
The whole book had me saying "WTH is going on at this school".
Then when stuff was revealed, it was very anticlimactic.  Like seriously?
I was left feeling underwhelmed and wanting a different outcome.

This had the potential to be so good but it fell so flat. I kept reading, waiting for something to happen and hardly anything did. And when something did happen, it was so underwhelming and anti climatic because it was hinted at throughout the whole book. This book was so insta lust which turned into insta love.
I don't really feel like doing some elaborate review. 
Salem- I really liked her as FMC. She was unique and had layers to her and was complex yet fleshed out. She was true to her character but became better throughout the book.
Caz-was okay. I just felt very meh towards him throughout the whole book no matter how the RuNyx tried to portray him. 
Loved Salems, friends and her mother was okay. 
I didn't believe Salem and Caz's love or romance at all. The insta love that turned into insta love didn't help with that. Their connection felt random and off. I didn't care for it.  Hopefully the next book by runyx is better.

The mystery buildup was great. The payout was poor. I was expecting a lot more with solving the mystery and the connecting all the dots.
