slow-paced

From the moment I started reading this I had a bad feeling. I hadn't heard too much about this, unlike from other books by this author and the finale of Darkverse was disappointing so I thought this might not be a hit.

And turns out it wasn't. The characters fell flat and this was 98% romance and 2% plot. I wasn't too invested in the characters and the story wasn't anything new either. I feel like I've read this book a dozen times already.
