This was completely awful. It started out so interesting and then just completely missed the mark. I don’t know what this book was even trying to be: romance, mystery, thriller? Because it was definitely just a whisper of all and turned into a confusing mess. No good conclusion at the end and very unlovable characters.

I usually love books like this but the plot was lackinggg. I was so confused what happened at the end. Like they ambushed the society thing and then boom it was over. Like what was the consequences for the bad people !? And idk it just wasn’t the vibe icl. It made me emotional a bit (in my head not irl) thinking about salems growth tho her and her mums relationship and how they mended it. Why tf did caz have long hair tf

The ending was a little underwhelming for me. But up until the last 50ish pages, I was absolutely hooked so I can let that slide. Still a solid 4 star book because ✨vibes✨

I liked the FMC and felt for her more than I cared for the MMC. She was more fleshed out while he was just an uncontrollable temper idiot.

Everything was resolved too quickly and made it a bit underwhelming after an anticipating buildup so it’s a meh (plus spicier than necessary 😭)
