I went into the book blind so I had no expectations. It’s spicier than what I normally read but the writing was pretty good. However, the MMC gave me the ick with that altar scene and I couldn’t take him seriously the rest of the time 😂

The ending was very sudden and underwhelming. I expected more based on how good the rest of the book was and the build up.

I liked Caz and that’s about it. The big mystery seems ridiculously easy to figure out?? Then resolved in 2 pages. 

Didn’t get me hooked like her other book
