Fucking epic, what a way to end the year.
I really want to know what happens to people who get ''abluted'' like Chris just did, do they die, do they forget everything and get sent back to that room with all the bodies?
The comic woman saved them, but will she try to attack them?
Also holy hell future Tiffany looks awesome.
I guess we now know they will probably time travel using one of the robots.

Sorry that last panel was gold. Leave it up to Granny💅🏽👵🏽 to save the day to save the day. I kept thinking to myself about my dislike for Mac. I understand that Mac is grieving some thing that hasn’t happened yet. But it seems like Matt had this personality trait before they knew about their situation. So I’m finding it hard to show empathy for someone who has no filter and say offensive thing after offense of thing.

I love this series so much. It's definitely my favourite comic series at the moment.

I loved the line work and the setting. As an individual that can remember what 1988 was like, I think this captured the feel of it relatively closely. The issue was extra long than most issues, so that was nice. Once again, I find that Brian K. Vaughan's dialogue just doesn't quite work for me. I feel that with a lot of his stuff he is just trying too hard and it isn't natural. I just don't believe the premise of this graphic novel series is something I'm going to be able to get into. I may try the volume sometime from my library system but it isn't high on my list.

I really love the colors they use but so far the story is eh. I'm gonna keep reading a few more issues so hopefully it gets better.
UPDATED: I literally could not stop reading Paper Girls until I read the last available issue. This is one of those I Can't Put It Down™ stories. However, my opinion on the first issue still stands; it was waaay too slow and unimpressive for me to rate it 4 stars. But just keep reading it because Paper Girls goes from a 2/10 to 1028498438/10 real quick.
