This is my first time reading the manga [after watching the anime a billion times] and I absolutely love it. There's so many comical quirks and uniqueness to all the characters, and I love the characters even more now seeing their origin on paper.

decided to read this series again to rekindle my love for OHSHC. i like the fact that haruhi is made to be androgynous and doesn’t stick to gender norms, and i also love the weird humor in this lmao. however it’s important to note that there’s a lot of problematic aspects in not only this volume but in the entire series, one of them being tamaki and the other members insisting that haruhi should “dress like a girl because she is one”, though that is unfortunately a product of its time.

I actually discovered the anime first and was well like many others screaming that it was never finished..... So naturally I start reading the manga. I couldn't be happier; the characters are all their chaotic selves, the story is a lovely break from reality, and will be adding this series to my comfort reads list.

I fell in love with all of the characters in the Host Club, especially the Tamaki and the twins. I also love the story and how it started with one thing (the broken vase) and it ended with another (a wonderful friendship and romance). I also love the fact that it had it's hilarious moments where you saw the gap between the rich and the 'poor' and how the rich reacted.

I love love love it!! I’ve always enjoyed the show and recently my husband got me the first volume of the manga which was amazing. It has all the charm and silly humor of the show while having a lot of extra scenes and fun authors commentary! I am definitely going to need them all.
