This was kind of akward but sweet. A lot of pop culture references

Cute, angst-free, and very British. The writing was horrible, though. I think it would’ve been a dnf if I hadn’t desperately needed a break from my current read.

Sweet and fun. I found it on my e-reader, not sure when and where I got it. I loved especially Max’ pov because he was such a lovely person, but reading Stefan’s was fun too. It felt a bit rushed in the end, but I guess with this story being part of the Love’s Landscapes by the GR m/m Romance Group and it being for free that’s a-okay. I definitely liked its tender atmosphere.

I loved how a misunderstanding of names led to these to getting together! I loved that they were both nerdy and would meet up just to talk in the game. I love how Max figured out his sexuality as he got to know Stefan. Max's birthday gift to Stefan was so sweet, it almost had me in tears.

There was a slow build in the relationship, from Max falling in love a little with his online gaming friend, to Stef who is careful not to push Max too far over his comfort level.

While I enjoyed the book, it didn't pull me in enough to give it 5 stars.

I loved it. Although it made me remember a relationship that was much like the one in the book. So that was a bit of a downer. But a great quick read. I loved the mixed medium of computer language and the everyday. Recommend highly.
