it was kinda weird and cringe but also kinda fun. The jokes were predictable and it felt like the author thought they did something there when in reality it was something i’d laugh at only for mental support. Also it felt like it was written by a man sometimes (in THAT way). All in all it was the most cliche sci-fi i’ve ever read without it being ever so slightly aware of that. But I far from despised this book. The main romance (minor) had me kicking my feet despite the sorta love triangle that was completely unnecessary and predictable. It cold have done (better) without. I know this sounds like I didn’t enjoy this book even remotely, which isn’t true, my ability to put positivity into words is just not as great as the ability to formulate negative criticism so take this with three grains of salt.

This was one of those books where there was nothing wrong with the book and yet there wasn't anything to grab at me either. I just wasn't expecting a book about teenagers in space and literally on a mission to save the Earth to feel so slow?

If I come across the audiobook I might pick this up again.

This was advertised to me as breakfast club meets guardians of the galaxy... honestly it's probably just like guardians to me.
It was an okay story... there wasn't anything crazy new in terms of plot. Character development was moderate at best. It was a fun story but not something I'm likely to go back to or recommend to others.

I'm not usually a sci-fi book babe but this one was so charming and the banter was bantering in a good way that I fell in love with this world and it's characters.

Zee was my favorite 💛
