Me faltaron 20 paginas pero no me puedo obligar a terminarlo

Love Maddox and Ashlyn! It’s been ages since I read this series so I had to start from the beginning and I’m so glad I did.

I love the theme of this story, Pandora's Box, Greek Gods and Demons. What gets better then this, oh yeah, a love story thrown in :D

A great paced book, with great characters and imagination. Great names and great plots.

I cannot wait to read the next one, and the one after that and that.

The story I am really looking forward to is Danika and Reyes.

And I am wondering how Torin's story will turn out too.

This is definitely a must read series that I would recommend to people.

It took me a little longer than I expected to get into this book, I even stopped at one point. Once I picked it up again I enjoyed it and look forward to the next.
funny lighthearted fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I was captivated by the beginning right away. The overarching plot that will carry through the series is intriguing and I really want to know how their problems are going to be solved.

I enjoyed how Maddox and his family interacted with each other, how the demons influence their personalities and the complicated nature of having a specific demons inside you. I look forward to seeing more of the guys in future books. I also liked how, with Ashlyn, Maddox accepted his demon and became better connected to Violence. Instead of trying to control Violence, he could let Violence doing his thing without the fear of losing control.

Ashlyn was intriguing. Her powers were unique and at glance seem manageable but when you think about the practicality of having these powers it gets a lot harder to cope. It added some depth to her character. Unfortunately this is really the only depth she seemed to have. I found that Ashlyn didn't have much of a personality other than having these powers that can be silenced by Maddox. I would have liked more explanation on why her powers were silenced in the presence of Maddox, why can't she hear the Lords voices in the play back, why was Violence "tamed" with Ashlyn.

The biggest negative in this book, other than the lack of depth in Ashlyn, was the insta-love. This book mostly takes place over 2 days. There was so much plot happening, in addition to Maddox's curse, there was not a lot of time for the romance to develop. They had a supernatural connection that wasn't explained (no fated-mates) and without any proper conversation I did not see how they could have fallen in love so quickly.

Overall, it was a good set up book for the rest of the Lord of the Underworld series but as a paranormal romance I was a little disappointed.

This was....not good.

I was intrigued at first and interested in Maddox and Ashlyn's story. But then we started having too many characters introduced...and then different POVs to start setting up the next book.

Also, honey? How many times can you describe someone as honey. Hair is honey, eyes are honey, skin is honey, smells like honey. FIND ANOTHER WORD, GENA!

it looked so much like the black dagger brotherhood but instead of vampires the man are demons

.
Maddox is a powerful warrior create by the Ancient Greek gods and one day, because of masculine hurt pride, this warriors open the Pandora box and release the demons who were trapped in there. The gods then cursed each warrior to be possessed by one demon...
Maddox is bounded in eternity with the violence demon (we have disease, wrath, pain, death, lust, distrust, sadness, secrets... aaaaall of them) and then (because well, the gods are suuuuch nice persons) maddox was cursed with a second curse
This warriors live together (all the testostore, I know) and suffer together, like a brotherhood (not the black dagger)
Ashlyng is a special human... when she enter a place she can hear all the conversations that had existed in the place (past and present) and she just can’t take the voices anymore, she just wants silence, wants to hush the voices (and she works in this strange paranormal institute that research the supernatural)

I liked the plot (even if it was predictable) and the characters (really want to read some of the brothers story) but I tough it was all a little rushed? Some things happened so fast and without an explanation and the couple was total insta love (like, they fall in love in TWO DAYS!!!!!!) but it was a enjoyable reading and I’ll definitely read the others
