interesting idea for a book. I love true crime cases and documentaries so this was pretty easy to get into. I made some predictions to my husband while I was reading (of course I can’t remember any of them now) but I don’t think I was 100% on what the twists were going to be! would be interested in reading a similar format book in the future

The clever premise and setup and the social commentary about the public's zealous intrigue into tragedies, especially kidnapped and murdered women was interesting, but the overall story and presentation were boring and dragged quite a bit. Too many POVs back and forth that did not create an impactful impression as I read. I felt that it hindered the final reveal of who killed Sara Parcell and it remained at a bland and tepid pace throughout.
