I genuinely have no idea how I feel about this book. Another book I read for my Crime Fiction class. I was very confused but liked the humor the detective had and how he wasn't perfect and was more personable. The blatant racism took me aback and I feel like. I have't read a book with that in it. There are books I've read that are supposed to be a comment on racism, but this one isn't, it showcases society and how racism was just part of it.
But yeah I'm giving this book a 3 stars because I just don't know lol.
