I really really liked this book, the drama, the twists, the emotions....it was like a Freida McFadden book, but I definitely prefer this one.
The thing is, I can't say too much about it without spoiling anything, but I'd definitely check the trigger warnings if you have any topics that would trigger you.

This was an entertaining thriller with some good twists and turns and I always enjoy unlikeable characters getting what they deserve at the hands of conniving women. There were a LOT of alternating POVs though and I did find it hard to keep track of what was going on at times listening to the audiobook. Would read more by this author in future - recommended for fans of Liv Constantine.

This book had me hooked. So much drama that kept me interested. This book has so many twists! I didn’t see the twist at the end coming at all and I liked the way things wrapped up.

I really enjoyed this twisty domestic thriller. I felt that itbwas well paced and kept you guessing until the very end.

Alanna is a single mother and works at a local womans shelter in Toronto. She haa been estranged from her wealthy family for years but when her stepfather is about to marry a nurse who is more than half his age. Her stepbrothers are quick to get in touch with Alanna to help them hatch a plan to prevent the wedding from happening.

A huge thank you to Harper Collins Canada, the Killer Crime Club and netgalley for an Arc in exchange for an honest review.
