The way this book is structured is kinda hit or miss, but the story itself is very good. Towards the end I already had an idea of what was going to happen, but it didn't take away from the actual ending for me. I like the way the reveal was done. Also...damn that's sad. Teenagers really don't think everything through, but I guess the adults learned a lesson...omg and the dogs

I read this in one sitting, I had high expectations for this book but the ending disappointed me to be honest.

Bon…….

The mystery of the whole book is so overdone, the book made barely any sense and I had to drag myself through it.

“What if we could stop being different colors, different backgrounds, and just be in love?”

I'm not going to lie.

We Were Liars was the one book in 2014 that everyone blew up and said it was a masterpiece, but all I got was a very mediocre book with unlikeable characters and one of the worst (and most predictable) twists in Young Adult history!

I'd like to say something nice about it, but the only thing that comes to mind is that it's a very quick read with one heart hitting metaphor.

“We are liars. We are beautiful and privileged. We are cracked and broken.”
