Really short chapter 87 for only a  225 page book. It was badly written but had a good plot twist at the end

Wow what the heck I’m still reeling from this and I am crying!!

Very teeny, very YA, but so so quick and easy to read and addicting, I couldn’t put this down. I Needed to find out what happened, and the reveal was so perfectly done and I didn’t see it coming at all, it absolutely broke me!

I loved the writing style, it was simple but worked so well for the story being told, and Cadence’s personality was so clear in the way it was written, and made the reveals we got so much better.

This book was AMAZING. The author really showed the growth of and between characters.
The plot twist was written FLAWLESSLY.

I expected the book to be pretty bad but it did exceed my expectations. It's not my usual genre, but for what it is I think it's okay. The ending was quite interesting but sad. I like the use of a cyclical structure with its double meaning, as well as the range of metaphors and language techniques. However, I find the characters and the storyline to be a bit one dimensional and it wasn't the most exciting books.

Really easy to read and gripping but the plot twist was a bit of a let down imo

Idk man, this book is severely overhyped. I cry more over doctor's appointments and stubbed toes than I did over the "legendary plot twist" that this book holds. For a much, much better use of this trope I recommend 'Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone'.
