My Thoughts on Black Panther #14

1. The variant cover that I have is 10,000 times better than the normal cover. The normal cover gives too much focus to literally the least interesting, cliché villain while the variant cover I have features at least four of the awesome women in this amazing series.

2. Who is this old, white guy giving a monologue, and how can we get rid of him? Apparently, he's a big bad I've never heard of who's interacted with both Bucky Barnes and Captain America who reads minds? Does science with minds? I really have no clue, and I don't care. Moving on.

3. Are we still dealing with Mr. Stane? This dude needs to get a hobby that is not trying to steal the resources of Wakanda.

4. I had no clue who Asira was until I Googled her, and now I'm just super confused. Is this a romantic relationship or more of a friendship? Because if it's romantic, why was he hardcore flirting with Ororo in the last issue. Too many plot holes and prerequisite information needed here.

5. T'Challa can summon all the spirits of the Black Panthers of the past? Awesome. I'd love to call upon my deceased ancestors for advice or just to chat when I'm bored.

6. So there's a sorcerer who has survived a multiverse collapse and he can help somehow? God, I really hate the plot of this arc.

7. I haven't loved the writing in #13 and #14, but I thought this quote was particularly well-written. "An alliance with the haramu-ful has always been a perilous thing. Perilous for his mother and father. For his friends. For his wife. For his people. Perilous for you."

8.
Why have they chosen to kidnap Asira? What will they get out of this? How does Zenzi fit in? I'm hoping this all starts to make sense soon.

9. Who are the blonde twins in matching outfits, and why do they work for Stane?

10. Zenzi is back!!!
