there are some dingers in here, I'd say. I liked Passion and Mule Killers and The Plague of Doves and Famine and Girls I Know and You Go When You Can No Longer Stay and Window. "Passion" was probably the most impressive in the sense that I read it and thought "it's true what they say you know... Alice Munro is a Master of the Short Story" but also my perspective might be colored by the fact that one of the prize jurists wrote an explanation of why this was their favorite that was very convincing
