kind of a good, not great book. i liked eliza and the rest of the characters and the whole feminist message was empowering. but like there's nothing special

stealing this quote from zoë, “this is everything moxie wanted to be.” very accurate. I loved this, it was equal parts sweet and empowering. Everything I was hoping to be talked about was and it was all encapsulated in one badass girl’s perspective. this book tackled some important issues and i really enjoyed it! anyone who is fan of rivals-lovers, this is a must read:)

loved it, very cute
yes the main character was a bitch, but those tend to be my favorite.
(the only thing is i didnt like how some of the feminism stuff was executed, but it wasnt anything huge)

-all of the character arcs panned out well/satisfying (especially the main character's)
-have a special place in my heart for selena's development. her discovery of feminism being awakened by eliza's manifesto/the realization that the things you accepted as normal are actually kind of fucked up & maybe it doesn't always have to be this way is <333
-got to also give a hand to eliza (even if she got on my nervessss in the first half) showing how even when you get settled in your assumptions about the world there's always more to be learned by talking to people with different perspectives. i love how she still ended up holding strong to her core beliefs but learned to value the beauty of people instead of being fixated on society.
-her hesitation to confide in winona because her opinion means the most to her, & their eventual reconciliation because they've both grown as people & realize that their past ways of seeing the world might've been slightly toxic was very satisfying.
-also as an eldest daughter with complicated family dynamics, some of those scenes made me tear up but we're not gonna get into that 👀
-the romance was actually really cute. kind of predictable but thats definitely not a bad thing. i like how there was always mutual respect & interest between them
-HE REMEMBERED HER BOBA ORDER!!
-i enjoyed the exploration on how feminism can mean lots of different things to different people
- overall really cute & i enjoyed it
-read in 4 hours & 15 minutes (all in the same day
-one of those books that i didnt want to put down
