Such a brilliant graphic novel. The story is really interesting and well-executed. I really enjoyed the Gwen-Verse, I think there is definitely potential for it to be expanded upon. There is a great humour throughout which is consistent and doesn't try too hard. The illustrations are amazing, I often found myself just admiring some of the pages, the art is truly stunning. I very rarely read graphic novels but this has me hooked from the start and made me realise that I really need to read more!

I was so hopeful for this series -- and so excited to be with Gwen again -- and it started promisingly, but it fell hard and fast. It was all too much and all too incoherent. The stakes were the end of the universe, but the emotion was entirely flat. The different versions of Gwen were not interesting beyond the character designs. The art was good though.
