So… I liked this book a lot more than expected for someone who tends to dislike character driven books.

Colleen as a character was meh. I cared more about her flashbacks than anything. But what she was going through was interesting.

I did like that this was a vampire book that wasn’t your classic good vs evil. It was more like, hey I exist and I’m not a dick just doing my own thing.

The beginning was a bit slow. The middle really had me hooked. And towards the end it did get a little tedious. I did call the ending, but I also liked how it ended.
