When you’re falling into a pit of despair, as one does in 2020, read Samantha Irby’s essays. I laughed out loud at parts of this book—it made me forget how horrible this world is! I cannot stress enough how great this book is, my favorite part being Late 1900’s time capsule. Stop reading this review and go order this book (specifically from your indie bookstore like I did!)

I life experience couldn't be more opposite than Samantha Irby, but it was amazing how, being the same age, I felt I connected with her in some areas like a love of Dave Matthews, not wanting to go out with friends earlier and earlier, and other experiences from being a teen in the 90s.
