A critique of upper-class white women told from the perspective of an upper-class white woman. Mrs. Bridge has flashes of realizing her situation (class-wise) and then going immediately back to her ignorance. It appears to be a light, loose collection of chapters and the deeper meaning surfaces every once in a while, and the feeling of pre-war anxiety pervades.
