I think I have to learn to read poetry better. I thoroughly loved some of these but felt like a lot of them were more of the same, more of the same, even more of the same and rich-people name-dropping and thinking about rich-people shallow things.

But then also I loved what I learned about form from this...but it was written...like she was born in the 1920s or whatever so is this style out of date? I don't know. I don't know. When I was a highschooler we "did" one of her poems for English and my group dramatised it as a video and that was stuck in my head but we must have abridged it to fit a time limit or something because going back there were lines and verses I didn't remember...also so heterosexual 1950s femininity with a touch of Christianity. I didn't really relate anymore.

And WTF is her crush on Wittgenstein? Maybe I should start putting Deleuze more overtly in every single poem I write? LOL. No! Of course I won't! But some of the poems were also witty, one or two made me laugh out loud (literally) on the bus. Holding onto this for now. Am still learning to appreciate poetry as much as I should...

She has become one of my favourite poets. Amazing use of poetic techniques alongside important themes. Absolutely brilliant, thankful to study good poetry at school.
