Wait, what?! Talk about cliffhanger ending! Super excited to start Crush.

I love this story! The pacing is great, the detail to little moments and how things feel on a relatable level is spot on. I love the references to Twilight, Harry Potter, and all YA Fantasy tropes while also being a story that fits right on the shelf with them. The book is from Grace’s POV and flows in a natural, endearing way.

The only reason I’m doing a star is because I can’t do half starts. A slight dock for repetitive cursing. While I do think it was used in a way people often talk/think and it wasn’t just thrown in for the heck of it, there were places where it became distracting and took away from what was happening.

With that said, I’m still plunging head first into book 2!

Ok this book was a stupid, cheesy, rip off version of twilight, but I loved it so much. I personally did not like Grace, the main character, at all. Like everything she did and said was just stupid, and she wasn't acting like a real person would. But Jaxon made up for it so it's ok.
