I know nothing about tennis. Less than nothing. I find tennis actively confusing. I was hooked on every word, followed this like I was Billie Jean King I stg. 

I knew from Malibu Rising, my personal fave TJR book, that I would like Carrie. I didn’t know that I would LOVE Carrie the way I do. A brilliant, complicated, ambitious woman who works so hard and finds such peace. The whole cast of characters were so fun to read about. 10/10 would read a whole book about any one of them (Gwen and Ali specifically, if I’m honest). 

Loved this, love Carrie Soto, love the Mick Riva slander.
