There were parts about this book that I really liked and found interesting, such as the basic story line once she was in the game and chance she had to 're-do' things and learn from the past. However, there were other things that I didn't like, such as the 'stick-it-to-the-establishment' undertones and the whole protests to protect children from the virtual reality games. Not that they were bad, just kind of took away from the story.

I don't really enjoy the first chapter of this book (even in a futuristic society, every-day life just bores me) but once she gets inside the game I'm so there for this book! SO THERE that I can't knock off a single star. I absolutely LOVE this book. Sister Mary Ursula, in particular, makes me laugh. But the whole book is entertaining! I recently recommended this to a friend and she loved it as well, and is giving it to one of her friends to read! I've read this numerous times and my enjoyment has not diminished!

The friends I've gotten to read it have liked it too. I recommend it to you!

This was surprisingly fun, in an older-school middle-grade book sort of way.  It was interesting to see how an earlier "got stuck in a video game" book was written, though it was mostly just a light fantasy novel.

Great book with great ideas. I myself wouldn’t mind a game like that.

It started out really really good. The premise was awesome and I was so excited to keep reading. Then once she started playing the game it got really boring. She started over too much and we were stuck in a replaying scenario. I didn't like that at all. It seemed to take forever for the plot line to develop. I was so disappointed by this because I was really excited to read it after everything got all set up in the beginning. The idea of playing in a game like that was really cool and i thought there could have been so much more interesting plot twists than there actually were. I just think she dropped the ball with this one.
