This book is excellent. Very in line with decolonial politics. Inclusive of many stories, especially those often erased. I liked the amount of detail in the stories, I actually learned more than I ever have about these topics from other sources. Would love to have this in my classroom library. I wish there were real pictures, not just illustrations though because pictures are information and important parts of history!

Really reader-friendly history that chooses lesser known events from American history that focus on the power of people to organize for change.
