I loved every single freaking thing about this book.

Friends to lovers (both have always had the feels) ✔️
Fake dating ✔️
Close proximity ✔️
Witty banter ✔️
Emotional intelligence ✔️
Spice ✔️

The best part of all of this is that we get to see it all gradually unfold. We don’t have to wait until the last 3 pages for everything to finally be revealed in a grand finale tornado. We get the goods all along the way.

This was my first time reading a book with characters who were stand-up comics and it was so freaking fun. Farley and Meyer were so flipping great. And I loved the ASL representation with Hazel. This book will definitely have you smiling. I didn’t want it to end.

There is just something about Tarah Dewitt that makes every book so much fun and her characters so real. This book is laced with relatability and unapologetic humor that make you fall in love with Fee immediately. Of all of her books, this is one of the first I would love to see in screen as a movie. Fee and Meyer’s tension, the fake romance trope is my faves and her relationship with sweet Hazel… I love everything Tarah does.
