A very good book - hard.  The characters are deeply flawed and ridiculous at times; I struggled to connect - plus Tolstoy’s apologetics don’t quite satisfy me.  But the book itself is satisfying somehow.

Es una lectura lenta, pero si tomamos en cuenta su época resulta disruptiva. La historia de una mujer que decide enfrentarse a la sociedad por un amor, la disyuntiva de otro de los personajes entre su agnosticismo y las creencias religiosas de aquellos a quienes ama. Sobre esos dos temas se centra esta obra. Se debe leer con paciencia y disfrutar.

This book is garbage. It doesn't even deserve one star. It took me almost 3 years to wade through this terrible book and I ended up reading the SparkNotes for the last 200 pages.
