Much better than the first book. This made me shed a few tears, and I loved how sweet the romance was at times. The reason it's not five stars for me is because it felt excessively dramatic and elaborate to the point of being unrealistic.

I wanted to finish this book so bad but it was just too dark for me and what I could handle at the moment. I love the first book in this series so I plan on trying to read it again later. But for now it’s a DNF.

I loved the story of this book amalgamation of love, sad, tense, hopefulness, living and surviving. Chloe Carmichael is florist and maid of honor of her friend who encountered with A.J. Edwards, Bad Habit Drummer best man of his friend. Though A.J from beginning dislike Chloe but eventually they got attracted with each other, hence opposite attracts and fall in love. Although the past of A.J was little disturbing and heartbreaking Chloe accepted all of it, but it didn't last though cause still his secret was yet to come. Although they go through heartbreak and lot's of emotional roller coaster of emotions, love gives them hope to survive and live life. Accepting us in whichever form and stage in our life such partner is all we deserve.

i enjoyed this book wayyy more than the first one. apart from some questionable decision making, a.j. wasnt neaarly as problematic as nico - on the contrary, he was quite sweet and i enjoyed their love story very much. i also liked chloe more than kat, mainly because she was honest and i loved her attitude to life. there was still a bit of jealousy (still not a big fan of that) but it wasnt as frustrating as kat's jealousy and insecurities.
