Though some of the “poems” in this book were relatable, I wouldn’t say I enjoyed most of these. The words are just “sentences” rather than “poems” and I felt no connection while reading it or whatsoever.

I could reall relate to the poems in this book. These three of them more than anything.
'I indulge myself in a book because diving headfirst into another fantasy is so much more peaceful than living in this reality.'
'There were things I wanted to put on paper but the words hurt too much to write.'
'Let the music fill the empty patches of your soul. And heal you.'
Those were my personal favorites.

I did not particularly enjoy this book. I read it the same way I always read books of poetry: quickly and in one sitting. I was waiting for my clothes to dry.
It felt juvenile. Very Rupi Kaur-esque but judging by the authors age I suspect that is what she was going for. It read like a teenager trying to be deep and calling it art when really it's just a brief collection of unoriginal simple sentences.
