Good for teens/ young adults
Very good book for teens/young adults going through their first breakup or first love. Wasn’t as relatable for me being as I’m almost 30 and have gone through these feelings so long ago

Picked on a whim from a library shop & read in a sitting over a meal.
It certainly captures what it feels like to feel infatuated at 19, and to desperately desire to be loved. The format suits the writings-simple and introspective.
I finished wishing for more depth and different development.
Would give 2 stars, but I felt troubled by the instances of internalized (and seemingly unintentional) misogyny that seeps through Campbell’s writing.

I recently got the free kindle unlimited trial so I figured I would try this poetry collection out.
I love these types of poetry books, similar to Rupi Kaur and r.h. Sin, but this one fell very flat. It didn't leave any long lasting impact on me and I don't think that this will be very memorable. There were a few poems that I did enjoy and highlighted but this just wasn't for me!
I did love the way it explored self love and how men shouldn't define your self worth. That theme was prominent throughout the whole collection and is something I wholeheartedly stand by.
All in all, this book is not something I can personally see myself reading again or coming back to in the future. It was an average collection for me.

I enjoyed the structure- the time stamps. I wish the author would have committed to either writing in poetry or in plain prose. Also, would have loved to see a progress- from love to heartache to moving forward. Instead it's mostly bad metaphors indulging pain in the form of Tumblr notes.
