At first glance, it may appear that this is an alphabet book made up of animals that are illustrated with lots of the letters that they start with, but it is so much more! "Alphabeasties" is a study in typography, design, and the alphabet. There are flaps to fold out and tiny details to examine. This is a great book for introducing the concept of fonts, and for older alphabet students.

A pretty amazing Alphabet book!I don't see this as one for kids just learning the alphabet but kids can have a ball with this one. So much to think about on each page!

didn't read all the way through - but I could spend hours looking over this ... I love alphabet books and fonts .. and this has both!
