The characters in this are wild, love Vita to pieces (our no nonsense body guard) and Charlie (our leading lady who has a crowd funded bounty on her head) started to grow on me by the end. The story felt a little disjointed with too much going on at times, but the overall plot is great and I will be looking for volume 2!

Also the librarians in this are the best! If I have to live in a dystopian future, sign me up to defend libraries by repelling down them with machine guns!

Loved the plot and story line. I am hopeful that the ship between Vita and Charlie sets sail and becomes canon. I love their banter and entire dynamic.

Also, the entire idea of being able to kill someone and it not being murder is beyond cool. The futuristic aspect is also pretty damn awesome.

Definitely can’t wait to start volume 2.

This was a wild ride. It is set in the near future and makes some interesting extrapolations about where we are going as a society. The story is fast-paced going from one scene of mayhem to the next. I got some laughs out of this, although by the end some of the running jokes were starting to wear a little thin.

This is a fun and gorgeous book - super fast paced. I find the whole dystopian “our phones are turning us into a moral assholes” storylines a bit tedious and boring anymore but this was a fun take. Also the back stories of the characters made it interesting.

I liked this gn a lot more than I thought I would. Viral social media celebrity meets murder for hire. Seems a lot of people in reviews are annoyed by Charlie’s character, but that’s the point! She’s supposed to be annoying, and a little suspicious. How else would a seemingly ordinary girl rack up over $1mil in hot money? Looking forward to reading the next installment.

Loved the artwork, the characters (one more than the other, but I guess our annoying narcissist has to have some sort of room for development?), the plot is so-so and feels repetitive at times, but the pace and the humor are good enough to always keep you wanting for more. This read felt like sour candy, can't stop eating it!

This collection of six issues took me a while to get through. The main character, Charlie, grated on my nerves. She had that "Maybe if I play dumb people will get me what I want" attitude that made me want to throat punch her. She was spoiled and flat out annoying. If I had the money and could do so, I'd have backed her Reapr campaign too. Vita, her bodyguard, was fun and sounded like she had an interesting story. It would be because of her that I'd even consider reading the other books. There are also two main killers out to get Charlie and they just seem like they're kind of there. I have yet to see what point they have to the storyline. Then there's Dog, a chihuahua that Charlie stole (big surprise there). I don't normally like chihuahuas, but I'd take Dog from Charlie in a heartbeat. Vita and Dog are the only reason I gave this collection two stars.

Great word building and just enough quirk to keep it from going over the top.
