( 2.5) I did watch the movie before reading the book, so that is a factor of my rating . For me this book was really Repetitive , and felt like high school which I get because the FMC just graduated,I will be reading book three . I feel it might make a come back in ratings . The book was okay for me , but don't take my word for it . If you are instrested in reading it give it a try. I loved the movies !!

*trigger warning: consent issues and assault*
This was not good. I’m very disappointed in how this book turned out. My Fault wasn’t a masterpiece by any means but I felt like the story flowed better and there wasn’t added nonsense. Your Fault honestly could have cut a few things out. Like the whole part with Noah going to Europe with her mom or the break in. Both don’t add much to the story, even though the break in does play a role in a later event it still could have been done differently. I liked the movie adaptation much better which is wild cause most of the time the book is better. But the movie does a better job at telling the story in way that makes sense and is less traumatic for Noah. Honestly I feel like the author doesn’t really like Noah cause this girl goes through so much. I also really hated that Michael is her therapist instead of her friend like in the movie. Cause it makes it creepy and uncomfortable (it truly seems like he assaults her but it’s written in a way that makes the reader not 110% sure) when they sleep together in the book and gives therapists a bad name. Like the changes in the movie are so much better and you want to root for Nick and Noah. I don’t want to root for them in the book like they should not be together. They don’t know how to communicate well and the only thing they seem to agree on is having sex. Nick even states in the few chapters. While yes there’s an age difference but still it gets annoying after a while. I be reading the last book in the series but have very low expectations for it which is sad cause I enjoyed the first book and the movies but this book was just terrible.
