Was a slow burning read. This is a sweet read and a story of the fight against what the men feel for the omega. This is a story that isn’t one of my favorites but is a good read. I love this author’s story and do love the ending as it was were the action scenes had you needing to end the story.

Either most of this book happens off page or the description for this book is wrong. So many plot holes, bad dialogue, and such much more!

Selection is a book that I will definitely re-read, I found everything about this book to be great! I loved all of the characters, and it was very well written. I also liked that the plot to this book was similar to The Bachelor, in which the Royal Pack (Kaz, Tai & Wolf) has to select their future Omega from a group of Omegas selected from different Omega Academys from around the world. There was quite a bit of action along with the steam

A take on The Bachelor, mashed with Omegaverse romance, meets the Royal world. It was a great spin that I haven't read yet within this trope and I loved it!

The Royal Watch talk show picks Maddison Darling, an omega who is currently attending the Cambridge Omega Academy. Maddie is a scholarship student who is randomly picked to be part of the Mating Trials, a process by which the Royal Pack will select their omega out of forty other Omegas to bond with. It's really the last thing Maddie wants to do with her life, but she has no choice or say in the matter, that is until she meets and gets to know Kaz, Tai and Wolf, the three yummy alpha royals.

It isn't until she really gets to know these three alphas, spends time with them, which means falling for them, even when she told herself she wasn't going to, that her feelings shift and change. Unfortunately her upbringing makes her the last person who is ideal to finish the trial, but she works hard to steel her emotions to see someone else attached to the men who are becoming her entire world.

Kaz Easton, the crown prince, is torn by duty and by far the most stubborn of the three alphas. Because Kaz is torn between his duty to his queen, his very mother, and the pull to Maddie, the omega his mother doesn't approve of, Kaz is caught between his heart and his crown. Tai and Wolf are his best friends and part of his pack. The three alphas are caught up in a world wide event where the three of them must agree on one omega, but that choice involves so much more than just attraction. Tai falls almost immediately for Maddie and where he is the quieter of the three in public, he understands where Maddie comes from and their bond forms from the start. Wolf is the playful, outgoing one of the three and where he tends to be the middle ground between his friends,  his intense feelings may end up causing a riff if all three of them don't conclude she is the right choice.

Selection is another great book, with wonderful tropes added in, and I loved how everything fell in place with all of the omegaverse world still there. I was never bored and completely drawn in by the world and the story.

This is the third standalone in the Knot Their Omega series, and it has the lowest rating for me. Now let me be clear. I still enjoyed this book. Like, it was still worth reading for me. However I probably won’t read it again and I don’t think I’ll think about it after I finish this review.

The plot was interesting enough. The royal pack of 3 alphas is required to basically go through a Bachelor style dating show to choose their omega to mate.

One plus is the three alphas are super gay for each other. Like, the amount of sword crossing in this book is bananas and I loved it.

While this had all the right ingredients, it felt like it was missing salt. Like, it just didn’t have that essential ✨thing✨ that I can’t put my finger on.

Anyway. It was good. Fulfilled the assignment. I liked Miss Lawson’s other two books in this series better.

Selection is an Omegaverse, with a royal, Bachelor twist and to be honest I totally adored it. This rags to riches tale, is full of tension and steam, knots and love! Maddie is the sweetest thing, with a backbone of steel and after a lifetime of letting all the privileged people ridicule her, shes ready to fight for what is hers. The Royal Pack is headed by Kaz, the crown prince, whose mother the Queen, has always pulled his strings. But with the strength of his bonds with Wolf and Tai, the three of them might be able to cut those strings and take the only Omega they want, as theirs! This book was so so good, with the world already built, its easy to just sink right into the story and what a wonderful tale awaits you!
