I thought there was too much exposition for the prequel to one of the most successful YA series of all time. I also thought that there was too much coincidence in the book (seriously everything about the Hunger Games was made by Snow or his dad?) and Coryo was a very dull protagonist. Lastly there was also way too much music in the book, there were pages filled with dreck that I skipped because it was useless and boring.
Just could not get into it. Was really slow.

Suzanne did it again omg. Such a great addition to the original trilogy with callbacks to those books. "Character development" but he actually just becomes more and more insufferable.
