I was born in ‘85 so when I saw this advertised as the daily deal it immediately grabbed my attention. I was aware of Live Aid and Farm Aid, but had never heard of MOVE. This book is set up more like a documentary podcast but the information is presented in a well paced engaging format. Definitely recommend and will listen to this one again.

I love interactive audio books like this. Loved the interviews and music integrated into the history and storyline. Kevin Hart and team did a great job

Very informative. I’ve heard about the MOVE bombing but didn’t know much about it or the events leading up to it prior to listening to this. Nothing about American history should surprise me anymore, but I’m still amazed that not only was this allowed to happen, they ultimately got away with it.

Great listen on the summer of ‘85 in Philly, and the two area-altering events that took place - the police bombing of MOVE and the Live Aid concert. I was 8 that summer and remember both, but appreciate a deeper understanding. I learned a great deal from this!

So good!! Excellently narrated by Kevin Hart. Very insightful about two big events, one that almost everyone knows and one that many have never heard of, in Philadelphia. Definitely worth a listen.

A heart breaking piece of history that shows how bad racial relations in the US have been in the semimodern era. This telling of the story of the bombing of the move organization and Osage avenue is juxtaposed Against liveaid which happened in the same city just months later. It's important to history as it shows an example of political-police corruption and brutality stretching back to the 80s. This is the kind of story that isn't taught in schools yet and may never be but it should be as I think it's valuable to dissect the political racial tension of the 20th century moving into the 21st century especially so that it isn't swept under the rug to be forgotten.
