This book follows Jack & Jill through a selection of fairy tales. My 10-year-old loves this series!
Clever and creepy. And in one part, extremely disgusting.
Not quite as good as book one. I didn't find the stories to be as engaging in this one as I did in the last. But it wasn't bad, there were some pretty good moments too. Overall, pretty good.

Godwits did a masterful job this book. He wove the traditional stories together and put in modern twists. The book was full of both humor and poignancy. As an adult who knows many of the original stories well I appreciated this retelling. It provided fun escapism, and yet also found time to make me think. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
Gidwitz gleefully takes you down the path of ever increasing scary stories complete with playful interludes - another winner for those who liked his A Tale Dark & Grimm as well as new fans of fantasy fun.
