This girl is just a pervert. Is it funny? absolutely. And entirely self-aware. Whether or not they are correct in staring in the men's change room for so long and even entirely making the wrong decision in the end. But it was funny and vaguely concerning, but it was a lot of fun if you can get through the obvious problems.

Entering my reviews over from my old Goodreads profile I unearthed recently...here are some super sappy thoughts from 2009-era 14-year-old Claire!

Loved this. So funny and cheerful and insightful and unique and gah, the ending could not have been more perfect. Plus Lockhart took what could have been a cliche and, honestly, vulgar idea and made it her own. So wonderful!

Spoiler alert- such a fun and interesting concept. I only wish she would have found a way to destroy that mean Gunther bully. 8/

This is a good, fast read for those rainy days. Its was not spectacular but it was enjoyable none the less!

Quick, short read. Just one week as a fly on the wall and our heroine matures quite a bit and becomes more of who she wants to be.

This is OK, with some nice moments that usually come from discussions about art - the protagonist is in some hip young New York high school for the arts. 2.5 stars. I would have expected even better from the fabulous E. Lockhart, but this is a decent enough read.
