After reading and enjoying Blink, I was looking forward to reading The Tipping Point. Unfortunately, this book suffered from far too much repetition and inane commentary for me to enjoy it. It's a shame, because I think the subject matter is quite fascinating. I just couldn't stomach the poor writing style. I struggled to finish this one.

Informative for how I should go about advertising. Don’t think I fall into any of the three critical portions of people, maybe slight maven for certain subjects.
It was interesting but I know some experiments, like the Stanford prison, have been disproven in current times.
I still think the argument of a lot of this book holds up. Strangely connected people and born salesmen, how making something easy means someone is more likely to do it.

I was excited for this book after reading Talking With Strangers, but enjoyed it much less. I found it hard to stay interested during many of the tangents just to make one small point. I did enjoy the concept of the tipping point and found myself sharing different anecdotes with friends and family… but felt the point could’ve been made more concisely or interestingly. I especially lost interest during the long chapter about children’s shows. Felt like it went on foreverrrrr.
