I love this show, but didn't realize there were books as well! This book is super cute and, like the show, was able to improve my mood. The story would probably make more sense if you know the background of the characters, but it is not necessary. This is a good choice if someone is looking for a funny and positive graphic novel to read no matter the reader's age.

Good stuff, reminiscent of the earlier seasons; a quick and fun read.

I find that between the hiatuses the comics are a nice way to fill the time. While I can't say I enjoy them as much as the TV show they are like a light snack that keeps you satisfied. I found this story in particular to be cute and bring a little more real worldness to Steven Universe.

I always found myself wondering about school in this universe so it was fun to see Steven take part in it. It was also interesting to see how being raised by someone as unconventional as the Gems could have it's consequences. But as always Steven Universe shows us that unconventional isn't always bad and sometimes consequences carry good lessons.

I also liked that Connie plays a big role in this book. She's one of my favorite characters in the show and I loved her in this. It was interesting to see a side of her life we don't always get to see and I thought the ending was great.

Overall if you're a Steven Universe fan you should check this out.
