“I’m not angry at her, I’m angry at myself that I let her treat me the way she did” - Anna Bell

Buddy read with @char_reads_

A very relevant chick lit read based around social media - Instagram in particular. The idea of faking a life on Instagram, only for it to take over your actual life is actually pretty scary. Probably a good read for a lot of us really. 💕

It was a pretty easy read, I wish there had been more social media post style sections just because I did find parts slow. I think because it was all about a fake relationship, I didn’t like the characters either which made it hard to pick up. 🐢

I liked it a lot more once Aiden entered the story line. His dates with Izzy were very cute and funny. It’s a shame we didn’t get more of that. I think I just wanted more mean full connections - but that’s the point of the story I guess! 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏻

The ending was pretty predictable but a nice ending is never a bad thing when it comes to a light read. I just personally thought she didn’t deserve it. Defo good for any social media fans! 🤳
