I was seeking advice and inspiration when I was coming out, and this book has some of that. But even if Brammer doesn't have the answers to my lingering questions, his stories are enough. We need more LGBTQ stories. And I really appreciate people who share their stories. This book inspires me to share my own. I imagine many in and even outside of the LGBTQ community can find his stories relatable. His reflections go beyond the LGBTQ community; they're universal. Not all of the stories kept my interest. But I will lookout for more stories and columns from him in the future.

ok to be honest i don’t know if it was that i was bored when i started this book or if it just wasn’t written for me as a woman but i just…..felt nothing about this book. sure, it’s occasionally funny, and relatable as a half-white half-latinx queer person, but i just didn’t become invested in the author in the way that im used to memoirs ravishing me. easy fast listen but not much else i’m afraid

I enjoyed this! It's not really the type of thing I usually read, but I enjoyed it, and I think people who like that genre would love it.

very good
