Feel like this book was a victim of its own marketing. I thought it was going to be comedy. Instead it was a heavy memoir with a few dark comedy moments. That's great at times, just not what I went in expecting and think I would have like it more if I had been prepared.

well-written, heartfelt, thought-provoking, and one of the few memoirs to genuinely make me laugh out loud

Really honest. Have not followed the advice column, so seeing how he answers questions with his own complicated stories, to provide a lens, was surprising, humble, and thoughtful, to me. I think it has a really great format and was also a wonderful way to convey his own story/memoir. Sometimes I had to take breaks just because it pushes so much emotion out of a reader, to take time to process and think on the author's situations, decisions, and problems clearly. The story with the comet and the play was very evocative. I would recommend this book to anyone.
