The magic system in this is really unique all of those details in the story, the history, the characters- all is woven together somehow and we get to see it unravel with twist after twist! Really enjoyed reading it and can’t wait for the sequel.

The story was really engaging but the sex scenes and language were annoying and way too frequent/long.

Okay I KNOW this book gets A LOT of hate and let me just start by saying - I get why! It’s cringey, and clunky and feels way too freaking long BUT I’m also a mood reader and I’m here for vibes. So with that said, I still absolutely loved it lmao

Kingfisher gives sad boy Draco vibes and that is simply a clear path straight to my heart so yeah, I’m jumping on the Kingfisher bandwagon and I’m not ashamed
